 Marine Conservation Ste. Anne National Marine Park was designated in 1973 and was the first such park in the Indian Ocean, recently followed by Baie Ternay and Port Lounay National Marine Parks. It encompasses six islands off the coast of Mahé near Victoria. Fishing and collecting of shells or corals is strictly forbidden. |
