Singapore Airlines were fantastic as usual. Silk Air was good and the DAS Airline - grab your seat!! Transfers to Sangalaki were excellent, although the boat trip was a bit bouncy. The staff at Sangalaki were all friendly and helpful, and we met Ron Holland the owner who originated from Manchester. The other divers from a variety of nations were really good company. The diving was fantastic, we saw lots of Mantas and Turtles. We also enjoyed turtle watching, and the baby turtles.

The accommodation was comfortable, but perhaps in some need of refurbishment, whereas the cockroaches were friendly. The hotel in Berau was of a really good standard and much better then we expected. We enjoyed 3 great days in Singapore to unwind and shop.
