Malapascua, March 2009

Just a few lines to say what a wonderful holiday we had at Exotic resort on Malapascua, the flights went well, from the moment we stepped onto the island we felt right at home, the resort and island is beautiful, very professionally run and very friendly from the cleaner to the boss all was excellent, the diving is a bit on the lack of fish side but the threshers were brill, also there was plenty of frog fish, pigmy seahorses, sea snakes, etc. (there are 2 many to mention) many thanks for arranging everything and will be in touch when we go back!!

Bohol/Dumaguete, March 2009

Just to say thank you very much for a great holiday.  We thoroughly enjoyed the Philippines and especially Thalatta Resort, the owner Partrick made us very welcome.  The rooms were nicer than Oasis (Barry never missed the football either because rooms had a TV)

Oasis was basic but very nice and the dive staff was very knowledgeable.

The location was fantastic for eating and sitting every night on the beach eating freshly barbecued fish and meat was delightful.

Thalatta also had excellent dive staff but getting on and off the boats was a little tricky especially with the high winds, the restaurant was fantastic and I didn't spend enough time there to sample the whole menu!!!!!!

Once again many thanks for an excellent holiday and all transfers etc went without a hitch.

Truk Lagoon/Sangat Island, February 2009

Just a quick note to let you know how Truk and Sangat went and thank you for all the hard work you put in to get us on this trip.

Truk Odyssey and Truk Lagoon were out of this world, what can we say the boat and crew were amazing, the wrecks and viz mind blowing. We were very fortunate to meet a great group on board Odyssey all of us getting on really well and having a great time.

We cannot say enough about Odyssey we have stayed on live aboard's before but this boat is truly out of this world for diving, nothing is to much trouble the crew and dive guides were amazing, the food was fabulous and the wrecks awesome. Todd, Jessie and Maddie just put the icing on the cake as far as guides go with Todd's briefings being entertainment themselves and Jessie and Maddie's skills in guiding us through the wrecks. To echo comments from all on board a fabulous trip.

Sangat Island reserve was just as we remembered and we were really surprised they remembered us and spoilt us for the time we were there. It is truly an Island paradise no television just nature and sun, the diving was great and again we met some great people who helped make the holiday yet another to remember. All the staff Jo Jo, Minsoy, Brian, Anna Lynne, Janet, Ricky and Rhohan, what can we say again nothing too much trouble, anything to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable.

Everything went to plan which was a testament to your skills in organising such a complex and ever changing schedule. Once again thank you for all your help, you can be sure we will be singing your praise to all at the dive shop who are now wishing they had come with us.

Philippines-Puerto Galera/Sangat Island, March 2008

I just thought I'd email you to say what a wonderful holiday we had in Puerto Galera and Sangat Island. We were all very impressed by the excellent organisation and smooth transfers. Everything went according to plan and to say there were so many modes of transport to organise this was no mean feat! We are all very impressed with Snooba Travel and would certainly recommend your company to our friends, not to mention booking future holidays for ourselves.

Andy on Sangat was very surprised and pleased with his cheese and pickle. I can understand how luxuries would be missed! The island is truly beautiful and we did some fantastic diving on the wrecks. Both resorts were excellent and I could certainly recommend them to friends.

Well, thank you again Nikola for organising such an unforgettable holiday for us. It was perfect in every way and the excellent organisation of all the transfers and accommodation was very much appreciated.

I look forward to future holidays with Snooba Travel!

Philippines/Sangat Island, March 2007

Back to reality today at work after our trip, just wanted to send you an email to say a huge thank you from all of us, it was amazing that when you consider we had 6 flights, with numerous jeepney and boat transfers and every single time people were there to meet us with out any hitches. We saw white tip sharks, turtles and sea horses in Puerta Galera. Ali and Asia Divers were great and the wrecks of Coron on Sangat Island will be hard to beat. Again many thanks, your help certainly made my life in organising this trip very easy.

Philippines/Sangat Island, February 2007

Just a short line to thank you for the great holiday we had on Sangat and in Singapore. It truly lived up to our expectations and surpassed our desire for a remote holiday with great diving. All your hard work in putting together the itinerary paid off, things went more or less without a hitch, the hotels were great and the island out of this world the diving superb, as you can tell we all enjoyed it.

Phillipines, October 2004

Just thought you would like to know we all had a great time in the Phillipines. Everything about the place was great and we will be going back.

The stopover in Singapore was great too and I would like to see more of the place. We can't say enough about the staff both at the hotel and the Dive centre. Pete was brill and I also had some great dives with Rica. Lisa at the hotel was a gem.

Once again thanks for everything.

Philippines/Puerto Galera, April 2001

We're back after a fantastic holiday in Puerto Galera. It was a pretty long journey but the stopover in Singapore helped a lot. What a hi-tech hotel the Gallery Hotel is! How fantastic is the Phillipines?! Everyone was so friendly and the diving was superb as you will know. We logged a total of 21 dives each AND did the rescue diver course! Asia Divers is a superbly well-run place and we felt totally relaxed and confident in their hands. Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes and for making our holiday so memorable. We've recommended yout to everyone we know and will definitely be in touch when it comes to our next diving holiday. Thanks again.

Philippines/Puerto Galera, January 2001

The adventure began as we arrived from Manilla onto a beach and boarded a local boat for our 1-hour journey to La Laguna Beach. We were received by very helpful staff and were pleased by the accommodation, albeit simple, but of good quality in a traditional style. The outlook from our balconies was magnificent with views of both Sabang Bay and the jungle. The restaurant gave a spectacular panorama of the sea and the islands surrounding. The food provided was of the highest quality and cooked to order. Our excursions to other restaurants were also just as pleasing.

Concerning the diving, the set-up integrated people from the Philippines, Australia, America, Germany and the UK. They all were very helpful and professional. We dived on more than 20 occasions. More often than not, this was only in the company of a dive guide. When this was not the case there were no more than two others divers with us. The diversity of the dive sites in terms of their varied life and the sea conditions provided for both interest and exhilarating challenge. The dive set-up catered for a complete range of qualifications from novice through to the professional. The variety of dive sites supported such development. Access to and from the dive boats was uncomplicated and achieved with ease.

Well at the end of the day, above the dive centre, the Point Bar that overlooked the bay provided for a relaxing after dive environment. Here a few drinks and a bite to eat only interrupted conversation with both divers and dive guides.

Go again? Of course, we will, so perhaps we might see you there too!
