Philippines-Puerto Galera/ I just though I'd email you to say what a wonderful holiday we had in Puerto Galera and Andy on Sangat was very surprised and pleased with his cheese and pickle. I can understand how luxuries would be missed! The island is truly beautiful and we did some fantastic diving on the wrecks. Both resorts were excellent and I could certainly recommend them to friends. Well, thank you again Nikola for organising such an unforgettable holiday for us. I look forward to future holidays with Bevery Denton Philippines/Sangat Back to reality today at work after our trip, just wanted to send you an email to say a huge thank you from all of us, it was amazing that when you consider we had 6 flights, with numerous jeepney and boat transfers and every single time people were there to meet us with out any hitches. We saw white tip sharks, turtles and sea horses in Puerta Galera. Justine Watkin, Dave, Mark, Richard, and Rich Philippines/Puerto Galera, April 2001 We're back after a fantastic holiday in Puerto Galera. It was a pretty long journey but the stopover in Singapore helped a lot. What a hi-tech hotel the Gallery Hotel is! How fantastic is the Phillipines?! Everyone was so friendly and the diving was superb as you will know. We logged a total of 21 dives each AND did the rescue diver course! Asia Divers is a superbly well-run place and we felt totally relaxed and confident in their hands. Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes and for making our holiday so memorable. We've recommended yout to everyone we know and will definitely be in touch when it comes to our next diving holiday. Thanks again. Rachel and Tim Doswell Philippines/Puerto Galera, January 2001 The adventure began as we arrived from Manilla onto a beach and boarded a local boat for our 1-hour journey to La Laguna Beach. We were received by very helpful staff and were pleased by the accommodation, albeit simple, but of good quality in a traditional style. The outlook from our balconies was magnificent with views of both Sabang Bay and the jungle. The restaurant gave a spectacular panorama of the sea and the islands surrounding. The food provided was of the highest quality and cooked to order. Our excursions to other restaurants were also just as pleasing. Concerning the diving, the set-up integrated people from the Philippines, Australia, America, Germany and the UK. They all were very helpful and professional. We dived on more than 20 occasions. More often than not, this was only in the company of a dive guide. When this was not the case there were no more than two others divers with us. The diversity of the dive sites in terms of their varied life and the sea conditions provided for both interest and exhilarating challenge. The dive set-up catered for a complete range of qualifications from novice through to the professional. The variety of dive sites supported such development. Access to and from the dive boats was uncomplicated and achieved with ease. Well at the end of the day, above the dive centre, the Point Bar that overlooked the bay provided for a relaxing after dive environment. Here a few drinks and a bite to eat only interrupted conversation with both divers and dive guides. Go again? Of course, we will, so perhaps we might see you there too!
