Gangga Island is a small island approximately 5km off the coast of Northern Sulawesi. Gangga Island forms part of the Gangga & Bangka archipelago, connecting Indonesia with the southern Philippines. Many of its neighbouring islands are still unexplored and often even uninhabited. The canal that separates Gangga from the mainland is also the one that unites the Pacific with the Indian Ocean. Its geographical location, as well as the absence of any development in the area makes for clear waters, healthy coral reefs and pristine marine life.
