Bermuda is usually associated with the Caribbean, but not only is it located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean about 1.000km southeast of New York, the islands of Bermuda also have their very own and unique character. With a size of 35 km in length and a maximum of 2 miles at its widest, Bermuda is the closest coral island to Britain, and with its role as an international finance centre, it is the wealthiest country in the world. Bermuda's population amounts to around 65.000 and its capital city, Hamilton, offers visitors an excellent selection of restaurants, shops, museums, quaint architecture and very friendly locals.

The 7 main islands of Bermuda are divided into nine parishes and are connected via bridges, roads and causeways. All of them offer plenty of things to visit as well as spectacular pink sand beaches, lapped by turquoise waters. Most of the beaches are in the south of the island, set in pristine surroundings, with high, sheer limestone cliffs on either side or to the rear.
