Vietnam stretches over 1.600 km along the eastern coast of the Indochina Peninsula bordering with Cambodia, Laos and China and a coastline on the west of more that 3.000 km. With Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) in the south and Hanoi in the north of the country, the central coast not only boasts spectacular beaches but was also the centre of successive ancient civilisations, which have left their monuments as evidence of their culture.

Nha Trang is situated on the southern central coast of Vietnam, 450km north east of Ho Chi Minh City, where the South China Sea graces the shoreline with a deep ocean trench nearby, making the water some of the clearest in the region.

Nha Trang's main appeal is its spectacular bay with six km of white-sand beach, the nearby islands and unique climate, which provides nine months of beautiful weather. With its very warm, clear turquoise waters, snorkelling, diving and other water sports are the prime activities here, however just lazing on the beach is another very popular pastime not to be missed.

When you tire of the beach and water activities, there are a number of interesting sites nearby, one of them being the Cham Towers of Po Nagar which were built between the 7th and 12th centuries.
