 Food & Drink For excellent local and international food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as well as live music on most evenings, try "Bonkers" on Store Bay Road, Crown Point. For more great seafood, overlooking the ocean, check out the "Seahorse" in Stone Haven Bay. Anther popular restaurant is the "Fish Pot" in the village of Pleasant Prospect. In the north of the island the choice is rather limited, but Jemma's Sea View Kitchen, serving Tobagonian home cooking in a tree house on the beach, is a must for every visitor. (Bring your own booze!) For a really local experience, try the spiced corn on the cob or the roti, which you can buy at any of the little food stalls by the roadside. Another local delicacy is the Callaloo a tasty vegetable soup, flavoured with hot pepper. |
