What to do

Diving, snorkelling and sunbathing are the obvious but you should ask the rangers on Sangalaki to take you with them on the nightly walks around the island. They are keeping track of the nesting green turtles, making sure that they have deposited their eggs far enough from the waterline and relocate them if neccessary. Very educational, fascinationg and heartwarming to see the exhausted green turtles on their way back into the sea after laying their eggs. A MUST when you visit Sangalaki!
