If you would like to extend your trip to Sangalaki by a few nights, we can offer you a 3 day/2 night trip to the Samboja Eco-lodge. The lodge is managed by the Borneo Orang Utan Survival Foundation, giving you the chance of observing the Orang Utans, the Honey Bear, rare birds, lizards, snakes, deer, as well as wild primates such as Gibbons and Macaques. If you have more than 10 days time and are feeling adventurous, you might want to consider a 2-centre trip combining Sangalaki with Manado in Sulawesi. There is a regional airline offering flights between Balikpapan and Manado. Otherwise you could just add on a few nights in Singapore on your return journey.
