 What to do Diving, snorkelling, beach combing, deep-sea fishing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, golfing, horse riding, hiking in The Christoffel Park, or strolling around colonial Willemstad. Remember that Willemstadt is divided in two districts: Punda and Otrabanda! While Punda is the tourism oriented part, where you will find shops, restaurants and café's, Otrabanda is more a residential area, so far of little interest to tourists. If you have a rental car, there are countless little roads you can take to explore the islands' hidden secrets and there are numerous restored country estate houses or "Landhuizen", some of which are well worth a visit. Close to the airport, you will find the Hato Caves, which are considered to be among the top twenty caves in the world. |
