When to go
Diving enthusiasts should plan a visit to Newfoundland between June and September when temperatures and water conditions are their best. Water temperatures at depth can vary from as low as 0ºC at the height of winter to 12ºC in mid-summer. Semi-dry or dry suits are a must all year round! If you are after the whales and icebergs, you should travel sometime between May and August time!

Getting there
There are four direct flights a week with Air Canada from London to St. John's with a flight time of about 5,5 hours.

Getting around
For those who are looking at venturing outside of St. Johns, the best way to get around this area is by rental car. There are excellent maps available, car rental and petrol is affordable, there is little traffic outside the main cities and you have the freedom and flexibility to stop and take in the mind blowing natural beauty.

Entry Requirements
European community nationals only require a valid passport and a return ticket.

Local Airport Tax
Canadian $15.00 on all international flights, payable upon your departure in St. John's.

Baggage Allowance
2 pieces per person, whereas each piece should not exceed 32kg
